Spring 2011

The Lion of Panjshir (Symphony No. 2) will be performed on Friday, November 11, 2011 (Veterans Day) in Baltimore in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the death of Ahmad Shah Massoud, Afghanistan's national hero.

DG is a featured composer for April 2011 - along with Alan Hovhaness, Melinda Wagner, and Lee Hyla, among others - at the Pytheas Center for Contemporary Music website.

Winter 2010/2011

Fall 2010

The Lion of Panjshir (Symphony No. 2) will be performed again by Dr. Harlan Parker and the Peabody Wind Ensemble in December 2011 in honor of the 10th anniversary of the assassination of Afghanistan's national hero, Ahmad Shah Massoud.

On Monday, April 26th at 6:30pm, Duo for flute and tuba (2nd & 4th movements) will be performed as part of a student chamber music recital at the Greatbatch School of Music recital hall, Houghton College, Houghton, NY.
