Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 9:57PM The Lion of Panjshir (Symphony No. 2) will be performed on Friday, November 11, 2011 (Veterans Day) in Baltimore in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the death of Ahmad Shah Massoud, Afghanistan's national hero.
DG is a featured composer for April 2011 - along with Alan Hovhaness, Melinda Wagner, and Lee Hyla, among others - at the Pytheas Center for Contemporary Music website.
